IAA-CSIC is seeking a Doctor in Physics or Astrophysics. Main tasks will include:
1) Coordination of the synergy between different optical Integral Field Spectroscopy (IFS), IFS-like surveys (photo-spectra) and HI surveys, such us CALIFA, WEAVE-Apertif, J-PLUS, and SKA (preparation of proposals, data calibration, science synergies, ...)
2) Deep involvement on the operational rehearsals of the WEAVE survey, including support in the commissioning phase, flux calibration strategies, development of automatic quality control pipelines and analysis of the data
3) Explore strategies and proposals for the cross-calibration of the LIFU data in WEAVE-Apertif sample with J-PLUS data 
4) Development of emission line extraction and analysis tools from IFU and photo-spectra data
5) Analysis of the SFH and spatial resolved properties of the stellar populations and emission line gas (star formation histories, metallicities, ...) of the WEAVE-Apertif sample and ther relation with HI gas content provided by Apertif
6) Implementaton of high resolution stellar libraries in full spectral fitting codes for the analysis of WEAVE-Apertif data
7) Promoting synergies with other research groups of the IAA with similar interests
