Dear colleagues,

In relation to the postdoctoral fellowships programme from "La Caixa" Foundation, the Instituto de Física de Cantabria (IFCA, CSIC-UC), as a new accredited Maria de Maeztu Unit, is looking for international candidates who would like to develop their research in one of its research lines (please note that since the formal decision by the Ministry has not been published yet, IFCA is not included in the list of Maria de Maeztu Units; however its publication is expected to happen before the final selection of the candidates in February 26, 2019). IFCA conducts high-quality research on basic science, covering the areas of astrophysics, particle physics, statistical physics, advance computing and meteorology and data mining. In particular, in astrophysics we are looking for good candidates interested in joining the IFCA research groups “Observational Cosmology and Instrumentation” and “Galaxies and AGNs” that are involved in different space and ground-based experiments like XMM-Newton, Planck, Athena, LiteBIRD, J-PAS and QUIJOTE.
