Title: PhD position on "Star-planetary systems across stellar evolution"

Description: 

We are offering one predoctoral contract (former FPI fellowships) to carry out a PhD thesis project in our group of "Star and Planet Formation" at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC) in Granada. The PhD thesis will be carried out in the framework of the "Star-planetary systems across stellar evolution" project, funded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI / 10.13039/501100011033); Project Code: PID2020-114461GB-I00.

The thesis project will focus on the study of jets and disks in different stages of the protostellar evolution, with special emphasis on the search for signs of planet formation at the earliest stages. The candidate will be trained both in radio observations (through new proposals and exploitation of archives of large radio interferometers) and in the modeling (using codes developed by our group or close collaborators). This is currently a highly demanded profile for an optimal exploitation of the upgraded (JVLA), new (ALMA), and future (SKA, ngVLA) large radio astronomical facilities.
