Dear colleagues,

I would like to announce a 1 yr fellowship (Assegno di Ricerca) at the Dept. of Physics and Chemistry of the University of Palermo, focused on the study of the magnetic activity in M-type stars to constrain its effects on exoplanets.

This research grant has been funded in the framework of the PRIN2022 project "Know your little neighbours: characterizing low-mass stars and planets in the Solar neighbourhood" proposed by INAF - Palermo Astronomical Observatory and University of Palermo. The research activities will be carried out in close collaboration with researchers from both the institutes.

The application deadline is December 28th 2023. The salary is around 30 k€/yr. Applications from any candidate having at least a master degree are welcome. The selection is based on CV and interview. The call for applications is available at:
