The start-up Light Bridges is funding a PhD position in astrophysics dedicated to the search and characterization of Earth-like planets with ESPRESSO and NIRPS, in collaboration with the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC). The thesis will be supervised by myself (Dr. Alejandro Suárez Mascareño) and Dr. Rafael Rebolo, current director of the IAC. The PhD contract will be for 3 years and will have a starting salary of 30.000€/year and an allocation of up to 10.000€/year to cover research expenses.
