IAA-CSIC is seeking a Doctor in Physics with previous experience in:
- Supporting astronomers in radiointerferometry, for preparing proposals and making observations, especially with precursors / pathfinders of SKA; training of users in the analysis of massive radio data
- Commissioning of radiointerferometers
- Software development for radiointerferometry (especially developments for CASA)
- Evaluation of radiointerferometer data quality and general experience in user interaction.

Likewise, it will be valued positively:
- activities directly related to SKA, such as working groups, publications preparing for the science with SKA, analysis techniques, organization of workshops and conferences
- experience in operation of other astronomical instrumentations

Main tasks will include:
-Support to the users of SRC precursors and training for the optimal use of the associated infrastructure and data analysis. Training of users in the analysis of massive radio data, including the organization of workshops or conferences.
- Support to astronomers in radiointerferometry, including technical advice on preparing observing proposals for radiointerferometers and the corresponding observations, especially with SKA precursors / pathfinders.
- Extraction of scientific requirements associated with the data exploitation of SKA precursors and translation to technical requirements that optimize the implementation of SRC precursor.
- Support to astronomers in commissioning activities of SKA precursors, and evaluation of radiointerferometric data quality.
- Support to astronomers in the development of analysis tools for SKA precursors, especially based on CASA.
